A scalable, real-time chat app with Node JS, React JS, and ChatEngine.io. This application will support group chats, 1-on-1 chats, real-time messaging, image and file support.

ChitChat is a interactive chatbox application that allows users to connect and engage in real-time conversations. It is built using React.js, Node.js, and ChatEngine.io.

With ChitChat, users can create personalized chat profiles and easily authenticate themselves using their preferred username.

The frontend of ChitChat is developed using React.js. The React.js framework enables a responsive and intuitive chat interface that dynamically updates in real-time as messages are sent and received. It provides features like typing indicators, and read receipts and more.

On the backend, Node.js provides a server-side implementation of ChitChat. It enables efficient handling of API requests, authentication processes, and integration with ChatEngine.io (It provides a scalable infrastructure to handle the real-time messaging, including message synchronization, user presence detection, and channel management.).

For UserInterface, I used react-chat-engine-pretty pakage from npmjs.com
