College Management System using JAVA and MySQL

This Java project is developed for multilevel users like administrators, teachers, and students. It has a login system.

Introduction

This project is developed for multilevel users like administrators, teachers, and students. I have used a Java Swing project with a MySQL database and developed it using the NetBeans IDE. It has a login system. Students can see the notice board, results, syllabus, etc. A teacher can submit results, daily attendance, lab work, etc. Admin can enter information about exams, hostel activities, and so on. 

Functionality

1.) In this project, four modules are included, which are:

      Computer Science Department.

      Examination Department.

      Girl's Hostel

      Clubs and Society

2.) The Computer Science Department consists of two types of users: in-charge and students.

     

     The in-charge can login and then upload, edit, and update information about students, faculty, labs, grades, records, and so on.The students can           also login and view their syllabus, lab work, study material, and notices.

3.) The examination department consists of two types of users: in-charge and students.

     

     In this, the person in charge can login, then upload, edit, and update information about student marks and attendance. They can also print a                 student's grade card.The student can download their admit card, fill out the exam form, and view the notice.

4.) There are three types of user at the girl's hostel module: users, messkeepers, and students.

     

     The incharge can log in, enter their information, upload room status, view the complaint box, and print a receipt.The person in charge has the               ability to enter details, view complaints, and print payment receipts.The student can view the notice and add their complaint.

5.) There are two types of users in clubs and societies module: users in charge and students.

     

     It displays information about different clubs and societies.
