Database GUI in Python using Tkinter

This simple GUI in python is used to store a number of entries of basic details like First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, and Zipcode.

Introduction:

Databases are organized collection of data which can be easily accessed, modified and deleted.

A large number of records can be used to store them.

It is easy to add new data or delete old data.

 


Requirements:

The project requires two main modules :

a)Tkinter

b)SQLite

 

Working:

Firstly, the user needs to enter the required details such as First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, and Zipcode.

After entering the details, the user has to click the button 'Add Record to Database'.

The user can add as many entries of information as desired.

To view the records that the user has entered, the user has to click the button 'Show Records'.

Then it will show the record details on the window.

To delete a record, the user has to enter the id number to be deleted.

After entering the record which is to be deleted, the user needs to hit the 'Delete Record' Button.

 

Additional Information:

The details will be stored in a file named 'address_book' having the extension DB.
