Simple Dice Simulator using Python

By Harsh Shailesh Bhandari

This code in Python simulates the rolling of a Dice using Tkinter. The Dice is a primary component in various fun games like Ludo, Checkers, etc.

We all know about dice. It’s a simple cube with numbers from 1 to 6 written on its face. The dice simulator is a simple computer model that can roll dice for us.

This Project consists of a Python Code that helps the user Roll a Die on his/her device.

In this project, the user only has to click on the button assigned for rolling dice, and the program will randomly generate and print any number between 1 and 6. To make things more interesting, the output will be in PNG format, representing the Sides of an actual Die that has 6 sides. This feat will be achieved using Tkinter and PIL (Python Image Library).

Snake and Ladders, Ludo and Checkers, are the most favorite games of all time. But, it feels terrible when you drop the plan of playing just because you couldn’t find the dice. This code can be implemented in the above Virtual Games.

As mentioned above, Tkinter and Pillow are necessary prerequisite modules to implement this project.
